I learned how to customize MY life to fit MY goals – without sacrificing my family time!

I learned how to customize MY life to fit MY goals  – without sacrificing family time!

I'm a PhD scientist and was career driven before I became a mom. As a high-achiever, success was important to me and I lived a life of work hard and play hard.

When I stepped into the beautiful chaos of motherhood, I found myself wanting to be the best mom I could be. I poured all my time and energy into nurturing everyone else, without putting the same care towards myself. I thought this sacrifice was just part of the "job."

I stopped prioritizing the things that made me ME.

As a goal-oriented woman, this identity shift and career transition left me disoriented, aimless, and I just didn't feel like myself anymore. I was busy with tasks that didn't light me up. I missed intellectual stimulation and adult conversation.

I longed to achieve, to be seen, and to grow. For a while, I told myself, "There'll be time for that later." But deep down, I knew I needed to reclaim my sense of direction.

When motherhood takes over...

I’m so glad you’re here! Let me share a little bit of my journey with you.

Hello, Amazing Mom,

Here's a confession: I actively avoid shopping malls. I prefer small stores (or online shopping) where I can get what I need quickly and efficiently.

My Morning Sanctuary

Keeping it Real

On mornings when the weather is warm, you'll find me in my garden sipping on my morning brew. It's a gentle way to awaken my senses (literally and figuratively)!

As an avid fan of "The Amazing Race," I dream of one day competing as a mother & son team. The thought of us crossing the globe makes my heart smile. I hope there’s a zip line challenge!

Now, I'm not just "Mom." I'm a mom who consults, works from home, runs a business, homeschools, podcasts, gardens, and even makes time for running (the exercise kind and the chasing-kids kind)!

Rediscovering my identity

We have more choice in how we live our lives than we realize.

As a researcher & consultant, I've always been passionate about problem-solving and critical thinking. So, I turned those skills inward and applied the same proven frameworks I use in my career to tackle the mental and practical obstacles holding me back from my calling.

Once I started to put myself in the driver's seat of my own life, I gained the confidence to set audacious goals, take action on my big ideas, and lead with a CEO mindset. I created systems that work for busy moms and prevent burnout while doing it all.

And the result?
  • I aligned my work & life
  • I mastered time management systems
  • I adopted a flexible work arrangement
  • I built habits to increase productivity

Vision

Nurture our children’s nurturers.

Moms are leaders, teachers, supporters, guides, and nurturers for the next generation.

I believe Moms can continue to fill these important societal roles while retaining their own identity, personal life goals, and mental health. It's time to nurture the skills, interests, and passions of our nurturers.

Moms that live their fullest selves are the models for our Children to reach their fullest potential.

I envision a world where life crafting is a routine part of motherhood.
